“You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.”
– Maya Angelou
This profound truth from Maya Angelou perfectly explains my personal creative philosophy. I have not run out of words in 40 years, and each new day only offers more inspiration. The design challenges I embrace, the problems I solve, and the boundaries I push do not drain me of inspiration They continuously add to it.
Maya Angelou’s quote reminds me that my work isn’t just about writing, designing, or mentoring; it’s facilitating the innovation and transformation within me. Each bold, inventive risk I take only adds to my creative expertise. I consistently challenge my craft with new artistic pursuits. I don’t hoard my ideas or save my best concepts for “some day.” Instead, I pour all of myself into my work. Over time, my skills have improved, expanded, and adapted to the world around me, and each change has reshaped my own lived experience and assisted in my personal growth and evolution.
